Obituary of Reid, Dorothy Estelle
The death occurred at her home in Summerside, P.E.I., April 13, 2017, of Dorothy Estelle Reid, aged 88 years. Born in Summerside, the only daughter of the late Harold and Erma (Clark) Milligan, she was predeceased by her husband, George C. Reid in 2006.
Lovingly remembered by daughters, Vicki (Eric) Patton, Kentville N.S., Shelley (Grant) Moase, Summerside P.E.I., Trudy (Robert) Ross, Ellerslie P.E.I., and Bethany Vosper, Summerside P.E.I. Also survived by nine grandchildren: Matthew (Leanne), Jennifer and Gregory Moase, Michael, Daniel and Lisa Ross, Jacqueline and Jonathan Steele, and Alexander Vosper, as well as seven great-grandchildren.
Also pre-deceased by son-in-law Douglas Vosper.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Visitation will take place Tuesday April 18th from 1:00 - 2:15 p.m., followed by funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow in People's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be deeply appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
