Obituary of Gallant, Edmond Joseph

PLEASE NOTE; DUE TO AN ILLNESS IN EDMOND'S FAMILY, THE FUNERAL SERVICE THAT WAS TO BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AT 1:00 P.M. IS NOW POSTPONED AND WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE. VISITING HOURS WILL RESUME ON TUESDAY EVENING, FROM 6 - 8 P.M. The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 of Edmond Joseph Gallant of Summerside, aged 65 years. Edmond was born in Abrams- Village, P.E.I. to the late Joseph and Edna (nee Arsenault) Gallant. Beloved husband of Angela (nee Pearn) Gallant and loving father of Phillip (Christina), Ian (Holly) and Robin (Glenna). Also lovingly remembered by his 6 grandchildren Chloe, Lily, Quentin, Erica, Malin and Naia. Survived by the following brothers and sisters Elva, Anna, Alice (Pierro), Louise, Yvonne (Earl), Lucy (Lucien), Helen, Leonce, Peter (Donna) and brother-in-law Patrick Pearn. Besides his parents, Edmond was predeceased by his brother Edward, brothers in-law Freddie, Doug, Julian, Andrew Pearn and sister in-law Nora. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. DUE TO ILLNESS IN EDMOND'S FAMILY, FUNERAL SERVICE IS POSTPONED AND WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE Interment to take place in the Lot 16 United Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Edmond's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
