Obituary of Muttart, Arthur Hubert
The death occurred peacefully at Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, February 13th, 2017 of Arthur Hubert Muttart of Summerside and formerly of Charlottetown, aged 87 years. Arthur was born in Searletown, P.E.I. to the late Hubert and Mary (nee Grant) Muttart.
Father of Kenneth and David of Chicago U.S.A. All his many nieces, nephews, cousins as well as friends also cherish his memory.
Besides his parents, Arthur was predeceased by his wife Lorraine (nee Caruso) Muttart,brothers Alfred, John, Ernie and William, sisters Sarah, Audrey, Margaret and Helen.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, February 18th , where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 A.M. Interment to take place in St. Peter's Church Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Arthur's memory to Parkinson's Society would be greatly appreciated. By personal request there will be no visiting hours held.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
