Obituary of Albert, Claude John
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PE on Christmas Day, 2021 with his wife of 60 years by his side, Claude John Albert of Miscouche age 84.
Much loved husband of Julia (DesRoches) Albert and cherished father of Elizabeth (Peter) Mallett, Maria (Rudi) Terstege, Caroline (Freddy) Martin, Angela (Paul) Millar and chosen daughter Giselle (Finton) MacKinnon. Proud Pépé to Kate (Adam) Blacquiere, Josh (Jill Van Vliet) Mallett, Dylan Terstege, Hailey Terstege, Isaiah (Emily) Martin and Fur Grand dogs Eddie and Lucie. Cherished O'Pépé to Keifer Mallett, Emmett Mallett, Ellie Blacquiere and Ivy Blacquiere whom he adored.
Brother to Carol (Owen) Gaudet, Aurella (Gerry) Dieser, Ronnie (Pauline) Albert, Marie MacAusland and Pat (Freda) Albert.
Predeceased by his parents Henry and Catherine (Gaudet) Albert and the following brothers and sisters: Joseph, Eldow, Ivan, Roy, Stephen, Eliza, Beatrice, Dora, Anna and Gloria. Also predeceased by his in-laws Urban and Mary DesRoches.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private family funeral service will be held. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or St. John the Baptist church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
