Obituary of Perry, Otis Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, November 17th, 2016 of Otis Joseph Perry of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 66 years. Otis was born in Summerside, beloved son of Guelda (Robert) Perry and the late Cyril (Yvonne) Perry.
Beloved husband of the late Brenda (nee Warren) Perry and common-law partner of Kim Andrew. Loving father of Nadine (Roy) Culleton, Mount Pleasant and Shonna (Shane) Carter, Corner Brook, NF. Also lovingly remembered by his 5 grandchildren; Janessa, Reegan, Keira, Reese and Lynkin and several nieces and nephews.
Survived by the following brothers and sisters; Julie Perry, Vance Perry, Trudy Perry, Mary Hope (John) Kahl, Leslie Perry all of Medicine Hat, AB, Robin (Bobby) Johnson, Summerside, Nicol (Charlie) Smith, Hunter River and Tommy (Tammy) Perry, Brockville, ON.
Besides his wife and father, Otis was predeceased by his sisters Colleen Gillis and Lisa Perry.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery, Miscouche. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Otis's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday evening only, 5 - 8 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
