Obituary of Arsenault, Marguerite Helen
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, August 4th, 2016 of Marguerite Helen Arsenault (nee Praught) of Summerside, formerly of Grand River in her 97th year. Marguerite was born in Grand River to her late parents Raymond and Anna Belle (nee McNeill) Praught.
Beloved wife of the late William J. Arsenault and loving mother of Eric (Peggy), Stratford; Diane (Stan) Arsenault, Summerside; Carol (Rook) Shields, Summerside; Lorraine (Ivers) Grigg, Springhill; Bernice (Bob) Ault, Bridgewater, NS and Kirk (Lynn), Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Survived by her brothers and sisters Loretta MacDougall, Augusta, MA; Percy, St. John, NB; Edmund of Toronto; daughter-in-law Helen (late Lorne) Arsenault and son-in-law Donnie (late Mary) Ballum.
Besides her parents and husband, Marguerite was predeceased by her son Lorne, daughter Mary, grandsons Paul Arsenault, Jason Shields, brothers Lorne, Joseph and sister Bernice.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until
Monday, August 8th then to St. Patrick's Church, Grand River for a funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marguerite's memory to St. Patrick's Building Fund or St. Patrick's Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visitation on Sunday, 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
