Obituary of Landry, Henry "Hank"
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PE on Thursday June 23rd, 2016 of Henry "Hank" Landry of Summerside, aged 94 years. Hank was born in Arichat, Cape Breton, NS. to his late parents Joseph and Matilda (nee Wedge) Landry. Former Summerside Citizen of the year.
Beloved husband of the late Melina (nee Bernard) Landry and loving father of Michael (Judy), Westmoreland, PE., Gisele (Fred) Martin, Summerside, Vance (Sue), Halifax, NS., Anne (Rose), Stratford, Nola (Barry) Button, Upper Tantallon, NS., Ellen Collier, Charlottetown, Sheila (Gary) Barlow, Summerside, Jamie (Linda), Charlottetown and daughter-in-law Sharon, Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Aaron Martin, Jessica Thiessen, Josh, Tyler, Ryan, Greg, Ben, Kiara Landry, Matt Barlow, Sara Button, Seanna and Alex Collier, his 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Survived by his brother and sisters Blanche Bennett, Cornwall, Elma Sonier, St.Eleanors and Tanton (Hilda), Summerside. Lovingly remembered by his special caregiver Dixie Grady.
Besides his parents and wife, Hank was predeceased by his son Danny, brothers and sister Alban, Clarence "Cappy" and Stella Clough.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, June 25th then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Hank's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Summerside Boys and Girls Club would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
