Obituary of Thibideau, Geralda Mary

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday, October 28th, 2015 of Geralda Mary (nee Blacquiere) Thibideau of Miscouche, P.E.I., aged 72 years. Geralda was born in St. Nicholas to her late parents Dona and Mabel (nee Poirier) Blacquiere. Beloved wife of the late John Thibideau and loving mother of Joanne Dennis and Troy (Karla MacAusland). Also lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren Ashley (William), Cody (Christina), Kaitlyn (Shawn) and Tylan, three great grandchildren Tianna, Taylah, Lucca and several nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Louis (Lucy), Marina (John) Arsenault, Marie Stewart and Leatha (Clarence) DuPuis . Also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law: Babs Blacquiere Richard (Joan) Thibideau, Sonny (Brita) Thibideau and Janice (Allan) Parks. Besides her parents and husband, Geralda was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Mary Louise (Sylvere), Cyrus (Celine), Tina (Lloyd) Cameron, Harold (Anna), Gerald, Shirley (Albin) Arsenault. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, October 31st, 2015 then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in church cemetery. Memorial donations in Geralda's memory to St. John the Baptist Church would be greatly appreciated.
