Obituary
Obituary of MacMillan, Dianne
It saddens me to announce the untimely death of my mother Dianne MacMillan (Hill) on August 29, 2015. Although her passing at age 68 was unexpected I was by her side as she left this world. Diane was the daughter of the late Arnold and Eva Hill of Carleton Siding.
Left to mourn, her loving daughter Kim (Clark) Murphy (Terry Arsenault), her cherished grandchildren Lyle and Lara and her brothers Barry, Wayne and Brian (Sandy).
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Billy MacMillan and her brother Carter. For mom her family was everything.
Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with me and her grandchildren. Her grandchildren Lyle and Lara were the light of her life. She took much pleasure in their milestones and in their presence. Mom was a nurturing and generous person. Although she lived alone she rarely cooked for one person. Her way of expressing her love was by preparing delicious meals for her family and friends. Mom was independent and hard working and put her heart and soul in everything she did. She was all or nothing. She took great pride in her home and gardens and I am grateful those passions will live on in me. Mom had great sadness in her life when she lost her husband Billy and more recently her beloved mother Eva. She was able to find happiness and fulfillment again through the closeness of her friendships in the past few years. She was not only my "momma" but my best friend. I can't find the words to express how sad I feel but I know that the love of my mother was the purest love I will ever know. I will love you forever, I will love you for always, as longs as I'm living my momma you'll be.
As per mom's wishes there will be no visitation. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Donations in mom's memory can be made to International Children's Memorial Place if you so wish.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
