Obituary of Cameron, Alan James
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday June 26th, 2015 of Alan James Cameron of Summerside, aged 78 years. Alan was born in Wellington, P.E.I. to his late parents Philip and Mildred (Cameron) Cameron.
Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Brown) Cameron and loving father of Cindy of Alberta, Phillip (Colleen), Loretta, Harold (Nicole) of Alberta and Timmy. Also lovingly remembered by 8 grandchildren; Colton, Jordan, Dakota, Nicholas, Riley, Jesse, Tiffany, Reese and several nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters; Cecil Cameron, Vernon (Donna) Cameron, Frances Doyle, Merrill Cameron and Leonard (Juanita) Cameron: brother-in-law Leonard Arsenault.
Besides his parents, Allan was predeceased by his son Paul James Cameron (in infancy); brothers Emmett and Raymond Cameron; sisters Helen Fitzgerald, Mary Arsenault, Edith and Loretta Cameron (in infancy); brothers-in-law Aubrey Doyle and Les Fitzgerald and sisters-in-law Clara and Viola Cameron.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday July 1st, then to Immaculate Conception Church, Wellington for a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donation in Alan's memory to the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening only,

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
