Obituary of MacLean, Anne Elizabeth
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, May 23rd, 2015 of Anne MacLean (nee Clow) of Summerside, aged 74 years. Anne was born in Summerside, P.E.I. to her late parents Austin and Blanche (nee Sonier) Clow.
Beloved wife of the late Julian Croken and loving mother of Wally (Kathy) of Miscouche, Francie (Robert) Cornish of Summerside, Patti (Paul) Cote of Parrsboro, NS, Kathy (Paul) Chapman of Amherst, NS, Billy (Rose) of Kelowna, BC, Sandra (Brad) Sprague of Amherst, NS, Karen (Danny) Arsenault of Summerside, Julianne (Ken) Ramey of Fredericton, NB and Lisa (Cory) MacMillan of Summerside; stepchildren Terry (Mary) Croken, Michael (Lynn) Croken, all of Kensington and Julie (Myles) Doucette of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by grandchildren and great-grandchildren Tracy (Kayleigh, Alexander), Justin, Barry (Billy), Lisa, Ryan (Adrianna), Michelle (Crimson), Gary (Chloe, Kayden, Allee), Amanda (Michael, Alyssa, Chase), Stephanie (MacKenzie, Emma, Kassidy), Jeremy (Noah, Nevaeh), Matthew (Misty), Melissa (Addison), Bobby, Katelyn (Aiden, Emma, Kadence), Alexander (Marquis, Mason, Avery, Mya), Shelby (Anastasia, Leo), Robin (Julian, Jemma), Christopher, Kristian, Maggie, Curry, Logan and several nieces and nephews.
Survived by her brothers Tommy (Armeda-deceased), Paul, Johnny(Cathy), Steve (Wendy), Jamie (Judy) and sisters Judy Lamarsh, Phyllis and Barb Clow and Margo (Wayne) Beaton. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, May 28th, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Anne's memory to the Canadian Lung Association or PEI Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 6 - 9 p.m. only.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
