Obituary of Gallant, John Gary
The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by members of his family, at the Georgetown Hospital, Georgetown. ON on Monday, March 30th, 2015 of John Gary Gallant of Brampton, ON, formerly of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 61 years. He was born in Summerside to the late Mary (nee Barriault) and Alyre Gallant.

Beloved husband of Eva (nee Arsenault) formerly of Abrams Village. Survived by his brothers and sisters; Roger (Judy), Roma (Jim Steele), Paul, Peter (Christine), David (Lori Adams), Dennis (Rachael), all of Summerside and Anne (Paul Butler) of Amherst, NS.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Saturday, May 23rd, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment to follow in St. Paul's Cemetery. Donations in Gary's memory to the PCH Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
