Obituary of Perry, Thomas Freeman
The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside on Wednesday, March 11th, 2015 of Thomas Freeman Perry of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 92 years. Thomas was born in New Jersey, U.S.A to his late parents Thomas F. and Esther (nee Chandler) Perry. Veteran of World War II.
Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Gallant) Perry and loving father of Tommy (Nancy) and Charlotte (Terry) Mathews all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his two grandchildren Melissa (Wade) Perry, Jillian (Scott) Thieu, 5 great grandchildren Camden, Rylan, Lucas, Molly, Nina and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Thomas was predeceased by his brothers Jim and Norman (Leona) Perry and sister Elenora (Ted) Perry.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, March 13th from where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Church Cemetery, Summerside at a later date. Donations in Thomas's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday evening only from 7 - 9 p.m.
Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 5, Summerside will hold a Service of Remembrance at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
