Obituary of Lyle, Garth George
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, March 5th , 2015 of Garth George Lyle of Summerside, aged 60 years. Garth was born in Summerside, P.E.I. to his late parents Ralph and Eva (nee Connell) Lyle.
Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Clow) Lyle and loving father of Aaron (Christina) Lyle and Adam Lyle all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his precious grandson Cohen and several nieces and nephews.
Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Wendell (Betty) Lyle of Summerside, Joyce (Robert) Gordon of Winnipeg, MB., Claudia (Reagh) Clark of Charlottetown, Claude (Janet) Lyle of Summerside, Ronald (Judy) Lyle of Halifax, NS., mother-in-law Velma and his late father-in-law Roland "Kayo" Clow, and many brothers and sisters-in-law.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, March 10th, then to St.Paul's Church for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Garth's memory to the East Prince Palliative Home Care or to Hospice P.E.I. would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
