Obituary of Burbine, William "Bill" Anthony
The death occurred at his late residence on Monday, March 2nd , 2015 of William "Bill" Anthony Burbine of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 75 years. Bill was born in River Hebert, N.S. to his late parents, Arthur and Delma (nee Arsenault) Burbine.
Beloved husband of Alice (nee Arsenault) Burbine and loving father of Tanya Bernard (Floyd) of Summerside, Todd of Moncton, N.B., Lisa Mabey (David) of Stratford and Jason of Halifax, N.S.. Also lovingly remembered by his 4 grandchildren Kailyn, Kassidy, Alanna and Evan. Survived by his brother Stuart (Charlotte) of St. Andrews, N.B., his sister Lorna Burbine (Jim Campbell) of New Glasgow, N.S. and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his brother Freddie Burbine.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, March 6th, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Donations in Bill's memory to St. Paul's Church, Summerside would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday evening only, 6 - 9 p.m..

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
