Obituary of Perron, Michael Joseph
The death occurred suddenly on Wednesday, December 17th, 2014 of Michael Joseph Perron of Kensington, P.E.I. and formerly of Tantallon, NS, aged 56 years. Michael was born in Halifax, NS to his parents Joseph and Dorothy (nee Greene) Perron.
Beloved husband of Rhonda (nee Gaudet) Perron and loving father of Nathan and Sadie of Halifax, NS. Survived by his sisters Denise Perron of Grand Manan, NB and Lisa (Rick) Ramsay of Tantallon, NS, mother-in-law Marcella Bernard, many brothers and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his fathers-in-law Phillip Bernard and Edmond Gaudet. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, December 22nd from where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations in Michael's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday evening only, 7 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
