Obituary of Gallant, Margaret Ann
The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, November 15th, 2014 of Margaret Ann Gallant (nee Doucette) of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Central Bedeque, P.E.I. aged 83 years. Margaret was born Clinton, P.E.I. to her late parents Emmanuel and Melvina (nee Perry) Doucette.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Gallant and loving mother of Junior (Lynn), Pauline (David) Aylward, Minnie Gallant, Elmer (Sandy), Jeanette (Rejean) Rivard, Michael (Diane), Johnny (Cindy), Larry, Peter, Nancy (Johnny) Doucette. Also lovingly remembered by her 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, her sister Dorothy Arsenault and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Margaret was predeceased by her son William in infancy, brother Gerard and brother-in-Law Larry Arsenault.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, November 18th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Peter's Church Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay. Memorial donations in Margaret's memory to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday evening only, 7 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
