Obituary of Wendt- Kozarevich, Irene
The death occurred peacefully at Summerset Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, November 15th, 2014 of Irene Wendt- Kozarevich (nee Farrell) of Miscouche and formerly of Lot 16, P.E.I., aged 97 years. Irene was born in Lot 16 to her late parents Isador and Mary (nee Woods) Farrell.
Beloved wife of Michael Kozarevich and loving mother of Frank (Rachelle) Wendt of Vancouver, B.C. Also lovingly remembered by her 2 grandchildren Joelle (David) Fiteni and Dylan (Lori) Wendt, One great - grandchild Landun Wendt and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Irene was predeceased by her first husband Frank Wendt and her brother Leo (Amy) Farrell.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Wednesday, November 26th, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Irene's memory to the Alzheimer's Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening, 6 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
