Obituary of Norring, Barry Verner
The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Friday, October 31st, 2014 of Barry Verner Norring of Kensington and formerly of Borden-Carleton, P.E.I., aged 67 years. Barry was born in Cape Traverse, P.E.I. to his late parents Verner and Joyce (nee Tyler) Norring.
Beloved husband of Paula (nee Martin) Norring and loving father of Chris, Adam and Jason and step-father of Leonard, Paul, Tanya, Serena and Daniel. Also lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews and his favorite dog and best friend Sassy. Survived by his brother and sisters: JoAnn (Brian), Burton (Donna) and Susan (Larry).
Besides his parents, Barry was predeceased by his brother Roy.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, November 4th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m.. Interment to take place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley at a later date. Memorial donations in Barry's memory to the P.E.I. Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday evening only, 6 - 9 p.m..

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
