Obituary of Clow, Ida Mae
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, October 13th, 2014 of Ida Mae Clow (nee Arsenault) of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 96 years. Ida was born in Mont Carmel, P.E.I. to her late parents Daniel and Jacquelyn Arsenault.
Beloved wife of the late Leslie "Doc" Clow and loving mother of Blair (Ann) of Summerside, Paula Plant (Joe) of Rosseau, ON. and Shelley Dunphy (Robert) of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, sisters and brother-in-law Shirley Clow of Summerside, Dot Finn of Dartmouth, N.S. and Ina Dionne (Ray) of Summerside and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Ida was predeceased by her son Winston, her brother Benny Arsenault and her sisters Rosie Gallant and Josephine Arsenault.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, October 16th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m.. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Ida's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening only, 6 - 8 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
