Obituary of Fraser, Charles Sanford

With heavy hearts and with his loving family by his side we announce the passing of Charles (Charlie, Chick, Sonny) Sanford Fraser, of Summerside PE, aged 72 years, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday October 13th, 2014. Born in Antigonish, NS. he lived in Westville, NS. until moving to Toronto, ON. where he worked for Arvin Meritor and raised his family for 35 years. He was the son of the late Mary (Ferguson)and Lonas Fraser. Survived by his loving wife Barbara (Marshall) Fraser of 52 years and by his children Tanya (Carl) LeClair, Fernwood, PE and Todd (Denise) Fraser, Ellerslie, PE. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren Joey LeClair, Ashley LeClair, Robbie Fraser, Jamie Marie Fraser, Alex Fraser, great grandson Charlie Fraser, sister Irene Whitman, Timmins, ON, Debbie (Wayne) Burke, Sydney, NS., brother Allan (Dale) Fraser, Grimsby, ON. and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Robert, granddaughter Sarah and infant great grandson Robert. Cremation has taken place. Interment in the Auburn Cemetery will take place at a later date in Westville, NS. Memorial donations in his memory can be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. The family would like to take this opportunity on Charlie's behalf to thank the entire staff at Palliative Care Unit for the supportive and professional care they provided throughout his illness.
