Obituary of Sigurdson, Frances Irene

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, April 19th, 2014 of Frances Irene (nee Charpentier) Sigurdson of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Ontario, aged 93 years. Frances was born on May 18th, 1920 in Ontario to her late parents Aubrey and Lena (nee Jones) Charpentier. Beloved wife of the late Ziggy Sigurdson and loving mother of Gloria Braithwaite of Ontario, Beth Conway (Mike Pureta) of Summerside and their father the late Bruce Dalton. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Sandy Reid (Everett) of Toronto ON., Keith Roberts (Wendy) of Grimsby, ON., Susy Bacon (Marshall) of Scarborough, ON., Erick Magi (Angelique) of Pickering, ON. and Kristi Atkinson (Chris) of Oshwa, ON. and many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister Grace Orr of Ontario. Besides her parents and husband, Frances was predeceased by her daughter Marlene Magi, brothers Dave, Bruce and Joseph, sisters Edith and Flo and son in-law George Braithwaite. By personal request, there will be no funeral service or visiting hours held. Memorial donations in Frances's memory to the Palliative Care Unit at the Prince County Hospital or the P.E.I.
